PAGE FOOTNOTES:  This event actually happened to me; a favorite old high school teacher of mine, who,- surprisingly- turned out to be a fundamentalist Christian, upon hearing that I was gender-Queer, decided that I was too immoral to be allowed to work at a job with real human beings at the local K-Mart, and went far out of his way to have me terminated, during the most fragile and desperate year of my life. It was not, by any means, an isolated event in my life experiences.
