PAGE FOOTNOTES: Where do ideas come from? I'll tell you. Cool Gunships, right? I was sitting on the toilet, twisting a clean piece of toilet paper in my hands into knots. I was feeling nervous over the big migraine I had the night before. I dropped the wad of twisted paper on the rug and when I looked down to pick it up, it looked amazingly like the gunships in today's painting. I carefully lifted the paper and carried it to my computer, and used it as a drawing model, as inspiration.

Keep your eyes and mind open: neat ideas are all around you, in the most humble things, if only we can look with the eyes of wonder.
