PAGE FOOTNOTES: Dr. Ransei Aoi lives in one of the windblade buildings on the Twiland side of Shushoku continent. It is common, among the rectilinear continents for apartments and housing to be built on the Twiland side, and business, manufacturing and commerce to be constructed on the Dayplain side.

Aoi has a coveted blades-edge apartment, which are high rent but generally considered to have the most room, and the best view in a flat, fin-shaped building. He is not a very tidy person at home. The Academy pays for Dr. Aoi's apartment.
