There comes a point where predjudice and ignorance and stubborn superstition must submit and defer to the obviousness of actual experience.
As social primates we are built to embrace and to accept, however much we are taught to reject and to dismiss. If one can confront with enough love, long enough, no heart can remain closed. Tiny drops of water will eventially wear away even a mountain.
